Parents & Caregivers 〰️

Parenting a neurodivergent teen is hard in ways that's hard to explain unless you're living it, and helping your child usually means helping you too. So I work with parents directly, not just as a quick update at the end of session. We talk about what's realistic at 7am before school, and what to do when a meltdown starts in the car. I've also spent years in San Diego schools and on wraparound teams, so I've sat with a lot of families going through IEP and 504 meetings, the waitlists, the paperwork and can help you navigate the frustrations that come with all of it.

Parents & Caregivers

A lot of parents carry quiet guilt that isn't theirs to carry - the sense that they caused this, or aren't doing enough. That guilt deserves its own attention, not just a footnote to your child's treatment.
